A phone you rent in the cloud and control remotely through a browser, app or API. Two kinds exist: virtual cloud phones (Android instances on shared ARM servers with randomized device fingerprints) and real-device cloud phones (physical handsets in a datacenter with authentic hardware identity).
Real device or virtual cloud phone — which do I need?+
Virtual phones are cheaper per minute and fine when apps don't verify device integrity. Real devices cost more but pass hardware attestation (Play Integrity, App Attest) and behave exactly like user hardware — required for production automation, stealth workloads and iOS.
